Your planning inputs

Enter figures for one period and one currency. Do not enter bank login details, account numbers or card details.

A figure you enter, not a figure fetched from a bank. Negative amounts are allowed.
Total income you expect within your chosen period.
Total spending you expect in the same period.
A reserve to subtract from your estimated balance.
For example: November plan. Use a label, not account details.

Inputs stay in this page’s memory only. Reloading, leaving or closing the page clears them. Download first if you need a copy.

THE WORKING, NOT A BLACK BOX

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

What this tool calculates

Starting balance + expected income − planned spending = estimated balance. Estimated balance − reserve = amount left to plan with.

What it does not do

It does not predict transaction timing, pending charges, interest, fees or whether an expected payment will arrive. A negative result indicates a gap in the figures you entered. It does not fetch a real bank balance, access a bank account, or store planning data on a server.

Inputs, rounding and privacy

Use a full stop for decimals, no grouping commas, and at most two decimal places. Amounts are limited to 1,000,000,000 per field. A currency choice changes display labels only; no exchange rates are applied. Blank optional fields are omitted from the worksheet; blank optional amounts contribute zero when arithmetic needs a value. Recurring-cost equivalents are rounded for display only. Entered text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.

Printing and text downloads are generated in your browser. This tool does not save inputs in cookies, local storage or a database. Your device, browser extensions, print service and saved copies are outside this site’s control.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you go

Is this my real bank balance?

No. It is an arithmetic estimate from the starting balance, income and spending you type. Check your own records separately. This site cannot verify an amount.

Why can the amount left to plan with be negative?

Your entered spending and reserve may be larger than your starting balance plus expected income. Review the assumptions; the tool does not arrange an overdraft, loan or transfer.

Can I share or print my plan?

Yes. Calculate a valid result, then use Print worksheet or Download text. Review the file before sharing; downloaded and printed copies may contain the amounts and labels you entered.

Does the site store my bank details?

The tool sends no planning inputs to a server and does not save them in browser storage. Never enter bank details or login credentials. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the working inputs.
