Our approach
The supplied interface uses semantic headings, visible form labels, text-based results, keyboard-operable buttons and expandable questions. Focus indicators are visible, controls are sized for touch, and the layout reflows on small screens. The four-color palette is used with readable text pairings rather than relying on color alone.
Using the tools
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, Enter or Space to activate buttons, and the summary of a question to expand it. Every repeated row is numbered and has visible field labels and a named remove button. Add only the rows you need.
Calculate estimate validates the current inputs and announces a result status. Errors are written in text. After your first calculation, edits update a valid estimate automatically; invalid or incomplete edits disable exports until corrected. Use Load example to try a tool without providing personal amounts.
Reading and keeping results
Results use ordinary text and structured lists rather than charts or images. Print worksheet uses your browser’s print interface, and Download text provides a plain-text version for reviewing in an editor or assistive tool. Important estimate and independence warnings are included in both.
You can zoom in using your browser. No animation is needed to use the tools, and no external typefaces are required. JavaScript is needed for calculations; without it, explanatory content remains readable but tools cannot produce results.
Known limits
Browser print dialogs, downloaded-file handling, browser extensions and other WordPress plugins are outside this interface’s control. A formal accessibility audit or certification is not claimed. The owner should test the deployed site with its actual theme, plugins, content and assistive technologies.
Report a barrier
Use Contact with the page or tool name, a brief description, browser and assistive technology if relevant, and steps to reproduce. Use invented examples and never send account details. Feedback helps the owner reproduce issues; no specific response deadline is promised.
