THE WORKING, NOT A BLACK BOX

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

What this tool calculates

Monthly equivalent: monthly × 1; weekly × 52 ÷ 12; quarterly ÷ 3; yearly ÷ 12. Annual equivalent = the unrounded monthly total × 12. An entered allowance is compared with the monthly total.

What it does not do

It does not pay bills, cancel subscriptions or send reminders. Optional due days are worksheet labels, not calendar events. Weekly costs use 52 payments per year, not a specific calendar month; variable charges are not predicted. It does not fetch a real bank balance, access a bank account, or store planning data on a server.

Inputs, rounding and privacy

Use a full stop for decimals, no grouping commas, and at most two decimal places. Amounts are limited to 1,000,000,000 per field. A currency choice changes display labels only; no exchange rates are applied. Blank optional fields are omitted from the worksheet; blank optional amounts contribute zero when arithmetic needs a value. Recurring-cost equivalents are rounded for display only. Entered text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.

Printing and text downloads are generated in your browser. This tool does not save inputs in cookies, local storage or a database. Your device, browser extensions, print service and saved copies are outside this site’s control.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you go

Is the monthly equivalent my exact next bill?

No. It spreads costs over an average month. A yearly payment can fall in one month, and a weekly bill can occur four or five times in a particular month.

Can this pay, cancel or remind me about a subscription?

No. The tool only arranges the amounts and optional due-day labels you enter. Contact the provider yourself for changes and use your own reminder system.

What if I leave the due day blank?

The due-day field is omitted from that row in the result. It does not change the cost calculation. Days from 1 to 31 are labels; verify short-month dates yourself.

Can I print the list safely?

Yes, after reviewing it. The site does not store the planning figures on a server, but your downloaded file or printed copy is under your control. Do not enter card or account numbers.
